Today's adventure in teaching creative problem solving involved turning off all the power strips before class, then having students using the "Define, Prepare, Try, & Reflect" steps to find out why the computers didn't work.

@mibo The first 10 minutes of class had a lot of upset students moving from computer to computer to find one that worked instead of doing the warm-up activity.

No one solved it until the end of class. Significantly more students were on task after we started, though.
