Last day of school before a state-mandated 2 week break to stem the spread of the virus.
We've been asked to have packets ready to send home with all our students so that learning doesn't cease, and in theory we'll have the time to do this thanks to an as yet unreleased modified class schedule.
I have some ideas about how such a schedule could work, but I do not envy the people who will have to make it happen.
As for me, I put most of my lessons online already. That helps for most of my students, but I will need to find ways to adjust for the ones who do not have connectivity at home.
In my class we have a 1:1 ratio thanks to a lot of Raspberry Pi computers and (very good) internet. At home, the gap widens.
