"If You’re Looking for an Excuse to Buy a Raspberry Pi Mini PC, Here It Is"
Thanks to @/philshapiro on Twitter I now know about https://www.pcliquidations.com and I have a new pipe dream of replacing our 10 year old computers with newer (though still not brand new) computers for less than $50 each.
I'm more likely to get funding for slowly building up a class set of Raspberry Pi computers, though, as they're already sold by vendors on our bid list. Cost is slightly higher if you include power/SD Card/HDMI to VGA adapters, but uniformity/quality has its own benefits.

Addendum: filing another report wherein you give me grief for not knowing who <person> is and STILL don't provide any links or substantive evidence: this does not fill me with confidence that you're in the right. I've seen WAY too many people abuse the anonymity of the remote-report function to harass users they don't like.
A tip: when submitting a report, include more information than "this is <person>". No matter how infamous you think <person> is, if you make the admin on the other end do the work of figuring out who they are and why that's supposed to be bad, they're FAR more likely to just say "okay, and?" and mark the report resolved. (Especially since reports to other instances are anonymized, so the admin can't ask you follow-up questions!)
Today my after school #DnD club played Dungeon Mayhem for the first time and the kids loved it. I won the first game and was soundly defeated every other time.
Next week we're going to play 1KBWC.
@djsundog I hope you are well.
Apparently flashing requires USB 2, and doesn't work well over USB 3.
Guess whose Linux computer only has USB 3 and C?
I also have a Rasp Pi that I've read has shaky results, but "sometimes" is better than "nope." I'll have to remember to bring it home from school today to give it a try.
Multiple attempts to reflash failed horribly (It's what one gets when looking at solutions from 2016...), but I found one that worked ... eventually.
Multiple fel timeouts, but it's currently writing to the PocketC.H.I.P. so ... fingers crossed?
